Great concept but this this app seems to have a hard time looking up bar code information even for the most common and basic foods. Its tedious enough to type in the expiration dates and other basic info, but with this app you need to enter the barcode as well or you cant add it to your list.

I started entering items and decided to upgrade. I keep getting an error message that the upgrade doesnt exist. Whats going on here?

Error for the upgrade has been fixed & the app keeps getting better! I love this App! Its not to just keep track of the pantry, both fridges & freezers. I track in the notes the most affordable location to purchase the pantry item so I dont over spend. I also use it to track coupons too. I got wild and thought why stop there? I have gone on to record holiday decor and party items so I recall what I have. It is great to track all gifts I purchase. So often I rush out to get another gift because I forgot what I had in stash. I have stored items in the attic, such as outgrown clothes waiting for the next mommy resale, seasonal gifts I purchase through the year & items I mean to donate. The kids games and teaching items I have put up & forgot to use because they are put out of site. So many things I double purchase because I forget what I have & where it is. So many things not utilized because its put away. Not anymore! Setting the expiration to remind me to rotate and use them or prep them for a sale or giveaway, such as the coat & blanket drives. So excited to have such a handy tool to not only help keep me from waisting food and over buying, but also help me be more organized, less cluttered & on purpose. THANK YOU!

Just installed the lite version on my iPad2 to try it. Search page also showed it was installed on my iPhone4s. But app called PASSBOOK was installed on the iPhone instead. I know Im going to like this app and purchase it. Please debug before I do.

Tried to use this app and could never get it started. It sat open "creating the database" for 5 mins before I gave up and deleted it.

Good to have to keep track but Im a little mixed about having to enter half the info in myself. Seems like it has not recognized over half the items I have scanned. It would also be nice to organize the list by product type as in crackers, pasta, canned goods, etc so I can see what types of things I have.

The idea of this app is great. But those "crowdsourcing" feature advertised in the instructions is a must - currently i cannot find anything.

Honestly, I think a pencil and notebook would be more efficient than this app. I scanned over a dozen items in my pantry before I gave up. None of them were recognized, so why bother with an app? Glad I didnt pay for the full version.

Layout is not bad, but it will not scan UPC. So it is a deal breaker.

Amazing service, twice now I have had a small issue and the help team has been quick and helpful getting my inventory working just perfectly. I definitely didnt expect so much devotion to the user. 5 stars.

I tried this with both my Ipad 2 and IPod touch. Camera scan did not work on either. I also tried manually typing in 4 brand name canned goods and the database did not recognize any of them - though savvy scan did some. Great idea and I would love it if it worked, but does not

Seriously? Scanner cant recognize Green Giant? I scanned about 10 different items and it only took 1. Soooooo glad I tried the free version first. I dont understand why the paid version gets such good ratings, I had high hopes, what a let down

Needed something to track my pantry that is well organized and easy to use and this is it. Evaluated Got Milk and a few others too many bells and whistles that are not necessary and proved complicated. I would wish that in future updates that cross platforms could be added, also an expanded database. This app has proved so useful that I am now going to use it to inventory my storage closets.

I purchased the upgrade after complete success with the lite trial version. It does all the positive things that people have mentioned. I had no problems scanning items even if the barcode was slightly wrinkled. I also found most of the common items in the database. If it wasnt in the database, it was typically a newer product and doesnt take any time to add it manually. What takes the stress out of grocery shopping for me is that when Im in the store I can see what and how much I have on hand so I can take advantage of sales. I can also sit comfortably and plan my menus without having to get up and check to see what ingredients I have. Several health and beauty items are also in the database so we never have to run out of toothpaste again.

This app saves me a quarterly rotation that I used to do, crawling through cabinets looking for expired items to replace. Their recent addition of device syncing in the full paid version is very beneficial for me, and their customer service is very responsive to questions or issues.

I was looking for an app to keep track of my pantry inventory for when I go shopping and when I am trying to plan meals out. This app is awesome for both. A little time consuming when you first add all of your pantry items but using the scanner UPC code, almost all my items were already in there. I put tags on everything so when Im going to shop I can search by tag and there are all my items. The free version only limits to ten entries but by the time I got to the 11th item I knew it was worth purchasing.

I can enter the month, day and year that my ground turkey goes bad but the list only shows that it will go bad in less than 30 days. I need to know it will go bad in 4 days! Same thing with my milk! Im better off writing dates with a Sharpie on the packages.

Nothings scans. No instructions. Sits there. Dont waste your time.

I had no idea how to organize my pantry... Something easy that I would always have with me when shopping... Where I could just subtract things as Im making dinner and pulling cans off shelves... This is quick, handy, and easy... Just what I was looking for! :)

I tried the lite version and liked it enough to buy the full version. It works great. I have found very few items that werent in the database. With the latest update the "back" button disappeared. I reported it and within an hour got an email it was being fixed. Support seems to be great.
